Laser Surgery for Epilepsy - See Videos of Children Being Cured After the Surgery

 Giggling at inappropriate times.

Happy to know that epilepsy has cure now through laser surgery. But question is:

Does this laser surgery applicable only for gelastic seizures, and appear as spontaneous, uncontrollable and often maniacal giggles or laughter?

Never knew that epilepsy has also this kind of as quoted in the article: " a rare form of epilepsy called Hypothalamic Hamartoma (HH) in which a non-cancerous lesion wreaks havoc in a highly sensitive area near the brain's stem. HH affects just on in one million children and, too often, the laughter goes undiagnosed."

Still searching and waiting for the latest treatment in order to combat epilepsy.

My kid is still under her maintenance and everyday I am thinking of her future. What she will become later on. Will she, be relieved for this kind of situation when she turns older? Right now, she is just 1 and 9 months young. Taking her Dilantin while she's at her 4 or 6months, I almost forgot her exact age, sorry for that guys.
